** When the butterfly valve connects both channels of the distributor to the inlet highway, the last due to the created depression opens the recirculation valve, providing an admission of exhaust gases even with a low pressure of an exhaust.

*** The vacuum distributor is switched on when work of speed of rotation of the engine on the indication of the sensor of depression exceeds some preset value.

For decrease in the content of oxides of nitrogen decrease in temperature of combustion at the expense of the redirection of part of these gases via the recirculation valve is provided in the soaking-up collector.

This system is installed on the cars sold in those regions in which rigid norms affect environmental pollution with exhaust gases.

The system of recirculation consists of the valve of recirculation, the vacuum distributor, the electropneumatic valve, the electronic control unit and the sensor of temperature.

RECIRCULATION VALVE

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start the engine and leave to idle.
2. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the valve of recirculation and on its place connect the portable vacuum pump.
3. Create depression on the recirculation valve. Depression has to be steady, and the engine has to start working with interruptions.
4. If depression is unstable and the engine works, continues to work trouble-free, replace the valve of recirculation.
5. If the vacuum gage shows steady depression, but the engine works trouble-free, remove the valve of recirculation and check purity of the valve and the soaking-up collector. If necessary clear or replace the specified details.

FILTER OF THE VACUUM DISTRIBUTOR

1. Remove the vacuum distributor.
2. Uncover and check a condition of filters.
3. Clear or replace filters, establish into place a cover and the vacuum distributor.

SYSTEM OF RECIRCULATION

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a hose from the valve of recirculation and connect the vacuum distributor to the recirculation valve through a tee with the vacuum gage.
2. Start the engine and connect conclusions of TE1 and E1 of the diagnostic socket.
3. Until the engine got warm (temperature below 45 °C) be convinced that at a speed of rotation of 2500 rpm of the indication of the vacuum gage are absent. On the warm engine at a speed of rotation of 2500 rpm the vacuum gage has to show low depression. On completely heated-up engine at increase in speed of rotation to 2500 rpm the vacuum gage has to show low depression also.
4. Check the electropneumatic valve. The electropneumatic valve is mounted on the soaking-up collector.
5. Check the electropneumatic valve resistance which has to be ranging from 37 to 44 Ohms.
6. At unsatisfactory results of check replace the electropneumatic valve.

RECIRCULATION VALVE

Replacement of details of system

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove the case of the air filter.
3. Disconnect from a chamber of a butterfly valve a drive cable (see subsection 5.12).
4. Remove a chamber of a butterfly valve from the soaking-up collector (see subsection 5.12).
5. Remove the vacuum distributor (see below).
6. Pick up the recirculation phone.
7. Turn off bolts of fastening of the valve of recirculation and remove the valve.
8. The valve of recirculation is installed upside-down.

VACUUM DISTRIBUTOR OF SYSTEM OF RECIRCULATION

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect vacuum hoses, previously having marked them, and get the vacuum distributor from an arm.
2. The vacuum distributor is installed upside-down.
