Always use the button of an automatic choice of the mode for increase of profitability and decrease in loading of the engine. At a low temperature of cooling liquid automatic inclusion of the 4th transfer will not happen even if the button of the switch is pressed.

Braking by the engine
For braking by the engine transmission switches to a low gear as follows.
Switch off the button of the switch of an automatic choice of the mode (this measure is effective only at the movement when the lever is in the situation "D"). Thus the light index of "O/D Off" will light up, and transmission will switch to the third transfer.
Councils for driving
If when overcoming an acclivity too frequent switching from the 3rd transfer on the 4th and vice versa is observed, wring out the button of an automatic choice of the mode. After rise overcoming immediately press the button.
When towing the trailer it is not recommended to use the button of an automatic choice of the mode for preservation of efficiency of braking.
