On the cars described in this management the 5-speed mechanical transmission or the 3rd – a 4-speed automatic transmission is established. Work with a mechanical transmission is described in the first part of this chapter. Operations on repair and service of an automatic transmission are described in the second part of this chapter.
The mechanical transmission and differential are concluded in compact, consisting of two sections, a case from an aluminum alloy. On models with the engine of 1,3 l C150 transmission is established, and on models with the engine of 1,6 l and 1,8 l are established a transmission of C50 or C52. All models of transmissions are almost identical, except for various transfer numbers for the first transfer.
In view of complexity of repair, lack of spare parts and necessary special tools, operations on repair of the internal mechanism of a mechanical transmission in this management are not described. For those motorists who nevertheless would wish to try to restore a transmission independently, schemes with the device of the mechanism of a transmission and the general description of this operation are provided in subsection 7.1.6 – the general description. The most part of information in this chapter is devoted to operations of removal and installation of a transmission.
