1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
2. Disconnect high-voltage wires (see subsection 2.8.3) and provide access to a cover of a head of cylinders, having removed all necessary details. |
3. Blow sites near spark plugs compressed air to remove all pollution which can get to the cylinder. Turn out spark plugs (see subsection 2.8.2). |
4. Uncover heads of cylinders (see subsection 3.1.1.3). |
5. Install the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT (see subsection 3.1.1.2). |
6. When the piston of the 1st cylinder is in compression step VMT, it is possible to check gaps of final valves of the 1 and 3 cylinders, and also inlet valves of the 1 and 2 cylinders (see rice. The piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT). |
|
7. Measure by the probe gaps in valves. At a normal gap the probe has to pass with small effort. Write down those gaps which do not meet standard. Later these data will be used for calculation of thickness of remote laying. |
8. Turn the crankshaft on 1 turn and combine adjusting tags. Measure by the probe gaps in other valves. When the piston of the 4th cylinder is in compression step VMT, it is possible to check gaps of final valves of the 2 and 4 cylinders, and also inlet valves of the 3 and 4 cylinders (see rice. The piston of the 4th cylinder in compression step VMT). |
9. After measurement of gaps turn the crankshaft so that the cam of a cam-shaft of the first valve which gap will be regulated, was directed vertically up, aside from a pusher. |
|
10. Turn a pusher so that dredging was turned towards a candle. Then by means of pincers and a shovel of the adaptation wring out a pusher. To establish pincers of the adaptation as it is shown in a picture, longer taking of ticks has to press out the lower part of a cam of a cam-shaft, and short capture presses out the top, pushing part of a cam. Wring out a pusher, having squeezed handles of pincers, then rest an adaptation shovel against a pusher, thereby holding it in the wrung-out situation, and remove pincers. |
|
11. By means of a small screw-driver or tweezers get remote laying of a pusher. Keep in mind that the adaptation is completed with a wire hook clamp which puts on on a handle of pincers and allows to record a pusher in the wrung-out situation during removal of laying. |
|
12. Get laying by tweezers or a magnet. |
|
13. Measure by a micrometer thickness of the removed remote laying. Then determine thickness of remote laying at which the gap in the valve will correspond to the standard by the formulas given below: N = + + (A-V) T – thickness of the removed remote laying And – the measured gap N – thickness of new remote laying V – the demanded gap in between the valve and a pusher (it is specified in subsection 2.1) |
14. Pick up laying so that thickness of the established remote laying was as it is possible closer to settlement. The manufacturer in the spare part delivers laying from 17 dimensional groups, thickness lies ranging from 2,5 mm to 3,3 mm and differs on 0,05 mm (see the table Thickness and number of the remote laying delivered in the spare part). |
Prevention
Number of the acquired laying it is possible to reduce if carefully to measure thickness of each of laying and it is simple to trade places. Laying of a pusher of one valve at which the gap does not meet standard, can approach a pusher of other valve.
|
|
15. Establish pincers of the adaptation as it is specified in drawing so that long taking of ticks pressed out the lower part of a cam of a cam-shaft, and short capture – the top, pushing part of a cam. Wring out a pusher, having squeezed handles of pincers and establish new laying (thus keep in mind that laying can be established having put on handles of pincers a hook from an adaptation set). Check a gap between the valve and a pusher to be convinced of correctness of selection of laying. |
16. Repeat procedure for other valves gaps in which did not meet standard. |
17. Establish all removed details (candles, high-voltage wires, tips, etc.) upside-down. |
