| Ropes between the equalizer and brakes |
| 1. Turn off nuts of fastening of back wheels, lift back part of the car and establish it on support. Block forward wheels. Remove a back wheel. |
| 2. Check that the car did not stand on the emergency brake, then, on drum brakes, remove the brake drum. |

3. On models with drum brakes remove brake shoes and disconnect a rope from the lever of the emergency brake
(see subsection 9.8). Turn off two fixing bolts (are specified by shooters) a rope on a guard of a back brake and pull out a rope through an opening in a guard. |
| 4. On models with disk brakes disconnect a rope from a support, having got the check and a pin, at the same time pressing the cranked lever of the emergency brake. Remove a fixing clip of a braid of a rope and remove a rope. |

5. Turn off a fixing nut of a clip near forward fastening of longitudinal draft. |

6. Turn off a bolt (it is specified by an arrow) fastenings of a clip of a rope to the floor panel. |
| 7. Remove thermal screens of an exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter (see subsection 6.9). |
|
8. Turn off fixing bolts of clips (are specified by the right shooters). Get nylon plugs from arms (are specified by the central shooters). Disconnect the forward ends of ropes from the equalizer (it is specified by the left shooters). |
| 9. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Apply a thin film of high-temperature greasing for the end of a rope which fastens to the equalizer. |
| 10. Adjust the emergency brake after completion of installation of a rope (see subsection 9.14). |
| Rope between the equalizer and the lever of the emergency brake |
| 11. Remove the central console
(see subsection 11.24). |
| 12. When the lever is lowered, turn off a lock-nut and an adjusting nut (see subsection 9.14) and disconnect a rope from the lever. |
| 13. Lift back part of the car and install it on support. |
| 14. Remove thermal screens of an exhaust pipe and the catalytic converter (see subsection 6.9). |
| 15. Turn the end of a rope on 90 ° and disconnect it from the equalizer. |
| 16. Get the rubber plug from the panel of a floor and get a rope through an opening in the panel. |
| 17. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Apply a thin film of high-temperature greasing on a site of a rope which fastens to the equalizer. Also cover edges of the rubber plug with silicone adhesive in order that it did not pass water. |

18. Adjust the course of the lever of the emergency brake upon completion of installation (see subsection 9.14).
