It is easiest to disassemble the engine and to make all types of works at the figurative stand which is specially intended for repair of the engine. Such stands can be hired often. Before installation of the engine it is necessary to shoot a flywheel with the coupling mechanism with the stand (or the leading disk of the hydrotransformer), and also the holder of a back epiploon of the crankshaft.

If the stand is not present, it is possible to disassemble the engine having strengthened it on a strong workbench or on a floor. When dismantling without use of the stand be very careful during manipulations with the engine.

If you get the ready engine of repair completeness, at first it is necessary to remove all hinged units to install them subsequently precisely in the same order as well as at independent capital repairs. Treat such units:

 – generator and arms;
 – details of system of decrease in toxicity of exhaust gases;
 – distributor of ignition, candle and high-voltage wires;
 – thermostat and cover of the case of the thermostat;
 – pump of cooling liquid and other details of the cooling system;
 – details of electronic injection of fuel;
 – inlet and final collectors;
 – oil filter;
 – engine mount details;
 – flywheel (or leading disk of the hydrotransformer);
 – back assembly flange.
Prevention

At removal from the engine of hinged units, with special attention treat those details which can be necessary at assembly of the engine. Apply tags on laying, epiploons, remote plugs, pins, bolts, washers, nuts, etc. to establish them in former situation.


If the block of cylinders of an incomplete complete set is installed (i.e. the block of cylinders with installed by the krivoshipno-shatunny mechanism and piston group), it is also necessary to remove a block head, the oil pallet and the oil pump then the remained block of cylinders with the krivoshipno-shatunny mechanism and piston group can be handed over in repair.

If it is planned to carry out capital repairs with full dismantling, the engine it is necessary to sort and remove completely engine details in the following order:

 – the soaking-up and final collectors;
 – cover of a head of cylinders;
 – covers of a gear belt;
 – head of the block of cylinders;
 – oil pallet;
 – oil pump;
 – shatunno-piston group;
 – holder of a back epiploon of the crankshaft;
 – the crankshaft with radical bearings.

Before dismantling and performance of procedures of capital repairs be convinced, available all necessary equipment and tools which list is given below. (The list of tools which will be necessary at assembly is provided in subsection 3.1.2.15.)

 – standard set of the tool;
 – small cash desks or plastic sacks for storage of the removed details;
 – the pallet for removal of the remains of laying;
 – development for removal of fillets from cylinders;
 – micrometers;
 – set of sliding measuring instruments;
 – set of indicator nutromer;
 – the adaptation for compression of springs of valves;
 – the adaptation for a honningovaniye of cylinders;
 – the tool for cleaning of flutes of piston rings;
 – electric drill;
 – set of taps and dies;
 – wire brushes;
 – brushes for a clearing of oil channels;
 – solvent.
