10.5. Suspension bracket lever

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off nuts of fastening of a wheel, lift forward part of the car, establish it on support and remove a wheel.
2. Turn off the bolt and two nuts (are specified by shooters) fixing the suspension bracket lever to a rotary fist.
3. By means of a lomik take away the suspension bracket lever from a rotary fist and remove the suspension bracket lever from the spherical hinge.
4. To release forward a krepleniyerychag of a suspension bracket – remove a forward hinged bolt (it is specified by an arrow).
5. To release back fastening of the lever of a suspension bracket to a cross-piece on release models since 1996 – remove a back hinged bolt (it is specified by an arrow).
6. To release back fastening of the lever of a suspension bracket to a cross-piece on models of earlier years of release – turn off the nut fixing a hinged bolt to an arm and the plug (see rice. Elements of the stabilizer of cross stability and lever of a forward suspension bracket).

Prevention

It is not necessary to turn off a nut and two bolts fixing a lever arm
suspension brackets if only you do not need to replace the plug.


7. Remove the suspension bracket lever.

Survey

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Check the suspension bracket lever for existence of deformations and its plug on existence of wear tracks, having replaced them if it is necessary. Do not try to level the bent suspension bracket lever, replace it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down removals (see rice. Elements of the stabilizer of cross stability and lever of a forward suspension bracket).
2. Tighten all threaded connections till the demanded moments of an inhaling specified in the section of technical characteristics at the beginning of this chapter.
Prevention

Before twisting of hinged bolts, lift the external end of the lever by means of a jack to bring the lever into situation in which it is when the car costs on wheels.


3. Establish a wheel and acquire nuts of fastening of a wheel. Lower the car on the earth and tighten nuts till the demanded moment of an inhaling specified in the section of technical characteristics in the corresponding chapter.
4. It is recommended to check adjustment of forward wheels and if it is necessary, to adjust.
