10.6. Spherical hinges

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off nuts of fastening of a wheel, lift the car and establish it on support. Remove a wheel.
2. Get to the check (if is available) from an opening of a bolt of the spherical hinge and turn off a nut (but do not remove it so far).
3. Remove the spherical hinge from a rotary fist by means of the tool for division of spherical hinges. Grease a rubber cover with greasing and be accurate not to tear a cover.
4. Remove a nut from a bolt of the spherical hinge. The gap between a bolt of the spherical hinge and the CV JOINT is very small. To remove a nut, you should turn off it on one-two turns, to lower the hinge, again to turn off a nut on couple of turns, etc. until the nut is turned off.
5. Turn off the bolts and nuts fixing the spherical hinge to the suspension bracket lever. Remove the spherical hinge from the lever by means of a lomik.
6. For installation of the spherical hinge, insert a hinge bolt into an opening of a rotary fist and acquire a nut, but do not twist it so far up to the end. Do not insert a bolt up to the end into an opening, start putting the clamp as soon as the end of a bolt seems from an opening, and then put the clamp, stretching a bolt through an opening.
7. Install the spherical hinge on the suspension bracket lever, establish a bolt and nuts, having tightened them till the demanded inhaling moment (see subsection 10.1).
8. Tighten a nut of fastening of the spherical hinge to a rotary fist till the demanded inhaling moment (see subsection 10.1) and establish adjustable to the check. If the opening for checks in a bolt does not coincide with an opening in a nut, put the clamp a little more to combine openings – do not turn off a nut in order that the check could insert adjustable.
9. Establish a wheel and acquire nuts of fastening of a wheel. Lower the car on the earth and tighten nuts of fastening of a wheel till the demanded inhaling moment (see subsection 10.1).
