10.9. Stabilizer of cross stability (back suspension bracket) and plug

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

On some models, perhaps, it will be necessary to lower a fuel tank for receiving the free space sufficient for removal of the stabilizer of cross stability (see subsection 5.7).


Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off nuts of fastening of back wheels. Lift back part
the car also install it on support. Remove back wheels.
2. Turn off nuts of fastening of a bar of the stabilizer (the fastening nut – is specified by an arrow) to connecting drafts. If the bolt rotates together with a nut, hold it by means of a face wrench.
3. Turn off bolts of fastening of clips of plugs of the stabilizer of cross stability (fastening bolts – are specified by shooters).
4. The stabilizer of cross stability now can be removed from the car. Remove fastenings from a stabilizer bar.
5. Check plugs for existence of wear tracks, on existence of consolidations, deformations, cracks or other damages and replace them if it is necessary. Also, check plugs of connecting drafts.
6. By means of a wire brush, clear places on a stabilizer bar in which plugs go. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. If it is necessary, oil plugs and U-shaped arms vegetable for simplification of installation (do not use petroleum oils or brake fluid as they will damage rubber of plugs).
7. For check of a condition of connecting drafts, be guided by instructions (see subsection 10.4).
8. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
