GENERAL INFORMATION

The scheme of gear shifting standard, is shown on an illustration.

At inclusion of transfer press a coupling pedal, then smoothly release.

It is not allowed to hold a foot on a coupling pedal during the movement, otherwise violation of normal work of coupling is possible. Is also inadmissible to put the car on transfer to hold on rise, for this purpose use the emergency brake.

Too early switching on an overgear and too late switching on the lowered leads to an overload of the engine and emergence of knocks. Frequent gear shifting at maximum permissible speeds of the movement is the reason of the accelerated wear of the engine and the increased fuel consumption.

The movement of the car with speed limit on this transfer can be necessary for departure on the highway or for overtaking of slowly moving transport.

Prevention

Switching on a low gear if the speed of the movement exceeds speed limit for the following low gear is not allowed.


Councils for driving

If inclusion of a backing from neutral position of the lever difficult, for a moment release a pedal of coupling and repeat inclusion.

Do not include the 5th transfer when towing the trailer to avoid increase in a brake way of the car against norm.
